Safety
Safety and reporting
Slightly Wet is for independent adults only. If anything on the site worries you, please tell us. You do not need an account to report, and advertisers never see who reported them.
If someone is in immediate danger
- 10111South African Police Service (SAPS) emergency line
- 116Childline South Africa, free and open 24 hours
- 0800 428 428Gender-Based Violence Command Centre, free and open 24 hours
How to report
- Open the profile and tap "Report this profile", or tap "Report" under a comment.
- Choose a reason: may be under 18, may be coerced or trafficked, this is me and I did not post it, fake photos, scam, offensive, or something else.
- Add any details that will help, then send.
You can also email slightywet@gmail.com with the profile link.
What happens with reports about minors or coercion
- These reports go to the top of the moderation queue.
- A profile is suspended automatically when it receives two open reports for a possible minor or coercion, or five open reports of any kind, while we investigate.
- Where there is any sign that a person is under 18, coerced or trafficked, we remove the content, preserve the records and report it to SAPS. The account is permanently banned.
If your photos were posted without consent
Report the profile with the reason "This is me and I did not post it", or email us. We will take it down while we review and will not ask you to prove anything publicly.
Tips for visitors
- Never pay a deposit or send money to someone you have not verified.
- Slightly Wet will never contact you asking for payment.
- Be respectful. Every advertiser sets their own boundaries.
For advertisers
Your safety matters. Share your plans with someone you trust, trust your instincts, and do not share your home address or ID with clients. For free, confidential support, legal advice and health information, contact the SWEAT helpline on 0800 60 60 60. If you are being forced or controlled by someone, call the Gender-Based Violence Command Centre on 0800 428 428 or SAPS on 10111.
